Gustavus Student Senate is seeking applications for Student Senators!
Elected representatives serve as full voting members of the Student Senate, where they discuss important issues facing the student body and decide how to use an annual budget of over $300,000 for student organizations and projects, all while improving their leadership and career competencies! There are also several non-elected positions available: Senate is looking for Students-at-Large and one delegate each for athletics and the arts.

Please note that the deadline to apply is 3:00pm on Monday, September 16th and elections will be on Thursday the 19th. Candidates can begin campaigning, if desired, immediately upon submission of the form. Campaign guidelines are established in the Senate bylaws. Regular meetings take place every Monday from 7:30-9:00pm beginning on September 23rd.
Note: in addition to Monday evenings, newly elected Senators must be available on Sunday, September 22 from 1-4 p.m. for training and orientation.
